Hotel Engel - Ulm

The rooms here are spacious and come at a fair price. the showers are nice and the WiFi is top-notch! 😊

A pleasant holiday atmosphere , with care taken to ensure that our interests were catered for, with time taken to give advice and directions to various points of interest. Excellent food . . .

Unfortunately, owing to the semi-rural location, there were quite a lot of flies around . . . the only weak point we found . . .

Convenient for visiting centre of Ulm (spire on the minster). Hotel easy to find when driving from Fussen. Easy access to autobahn when driving on towards Stuttgart. Comfortable and inexpensive. Good local traditional menu available.

Ensuite shower a bit small.

Moderately priced hotel in a pretty quiet area so close to ski resorts, the centre of Ulm which has a beautiful old town and a beautiful old town and lovely walks along the Danube. Updated units with a bath.

Restaurant - helpful waitress who provided English menu for us. Good food. Good breakfast too which was included in the price.

Having to wait to check in as staff were busy in restaurant and no-one in Reception. Had to go and ask someone to come and check us in. Expected double room but got a twin. Made do rather than try to change rooms as don't speak any German and not sure if staff spoke any English.

The rooms are spacious with a cozy French bed and the staff is exceptionally friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Great location right by the city center with a beautiful old town and scenic walks along the Danube. Good restaurant and easy access to the motorway. the suite we stayed in was nice, especially with the bathtub. 🛁

Friendly receptionist who spoke English. Clean rooms. Good location near motorway. Good car parking. Pleasant restaurant with good selection of fish dishes.

Poor breakfast - poor service, congealed scrambled egg, cold hot chocolate.

The hotel has friendly staff and old fashioned but clean rooms. Bathrooms are average for this class of hotel.

The lighting is not very suitable for applying make up. Using the internet I found that a "surf nanny" is installed that will block access to sites with certain words in the URL. When I asked the staff about it they turned out to be unaware of this. They promised to remedy it but have not done so during my stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Engel in Ulm. the room was well furnished and newly decorated, with big windows bringing in plenty of natural light. It had central heating, a work desk, and a TV set available in the room.

Hotel Engel is a very good hotel. Cleanliness of the rooms and the bathrooms is excellent. Set in a suburb of Ulm you will enjoy undisturbed nightrest here. Food is very tasty, the chateaubriand we enjoyed was excellent - as are the regional specials on the menu. Breakfast was very good. Staff is friendly and correct. We stayed here on our way down south and decided to stay here again on our way north.

This hotel offers great value for money. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the location on the outskirts of a little town. The hotel is nestled in a quiet residential area, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment for guests. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure that guests have everything they need during their stay. The rooms are equipped with small double beds or separate beds, and they are tastefully decorated with new tailor-made furniture. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, with a good shower and even a bath available. Moreover, the breakfast served here is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from, including some nice bread.

All was fine, nothing to complain about.
